I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's bout.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
